Edit Menu (PetroVR Econ)
Apart from the usual commands available in the Edit Menu and the variable commands, the following options are available in PetroVR Econ:
- Group by Variable Type / Module: (Only in root node.) Switch between Tree View.
- Paste / Paste Box/ Paste Module / Paste Variable: Paste last copied item. Copied items are stored in memory even after you close the current model, so that you can copy and paste from one model to another.
- Import: Box / Module: Import a saved box or module (.box file extension). If a module or box with the same name as the one imported already exists, the imported item is created with a different name (Copy of <name>).
- From JSON: Import a JSON file into the currently selected module. The new inputs and calculations will not replace the existing ones; if any name collision occurs, a numerical suffix is added to the name.
- PlanningSpace Template: Create a module from a PlanningSpace template (.plt).
- Export: Save the selected module or box as a .box file.
- Save as Template: Save the current module as a PlanningSpace template (.pmt or .plt file). Note that this only maps the variables between PetroVR and the PlanningSpace template, omitting the specification of a regime.
- PlanningSpace Output: Mark an input or calculation to be exported to a PlanningSpace regime; see PlanningSpace Modules.
- Export to JSON: Export the currently module as a JSON (extension .json) file. The module is saved as a template, recording the mapping of all the variables it contains.
- Embed economic model: (Only on modules.) Embed a PetroVR Econ model into another. See Embedded Economic Models.
- Move Up / Move Down: Move the selected module up or down.
- New PlanningSpace Module: Create a PlanningSpace Modules that will dynamically import/export data from/to PlanningSpace.
- New EaaS Module: Create a EaaS Modules that will dynamically import/export asset level data from/to a full Hierarchy in PlanningSpace.
- New Well Module: Create a Well Moduleswhose variables and calculations are solved iteratively for each of the wells drilled in the simulation.
- New Input / Calculation: (Only in Modules.) Create a new Econ Model Inputs or Econ Model Calculations.
- New Well Input(Only in Well Modules.)
- Create a new Well Input in a Well Modules.
- Insert Input / Calculation: Insert a new input/calculation above.
- Replace: Make a global replace of the selected input or calculation with another input or calculation. See Replace Variable Names.
- Definition: Open the definition of the selected input or calculation in a new window.
- Variables with this name: Open a variable definition window with all Econ inputs and calculations belonging to other modules with the same name as the selected variable.
- Tag as Result: Add the input or calculation in the results included in the Results Window, and make it available as result in a Monte Carlo simulation, Scenario display, Spider Plot, etc. See Tagging Variables as Results.
- Tag all as Result / Remove all Result tags: (Only in root and module nodes.) Tag as result (or remove tags from) all dependent inputs and calculations. This does not include items from embedded economic models.
- Sort Inputs: Sort inputs alphabetically in the selected node (and sub-nodes).
- Sort
- Calculations: Sort calculations alphabetically in the selected node (and sub-nodes).
You cannot save a PetroVR Econ model when editing a Scenarios.
